Product Manager – Ann Arbor, MI or Remote

Full Job Description
We are looking for a product manager who will be responsible for the overall success of our product line. You will be responsible for managing the product’s lifecycle from development to product launch. The product manager will be responsible for assisting with bringing our company’s vision and strategy to life. This person will need to understand and respond to customer needs and wants in addition to being able to convert those into product and/or project requirements.

Product Manager Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a product manager is expected to assume in their position:

  • Lead the product development team in creating the product road map
  • Listen to and understand customer feedback, and respond to product suggestions
  • Contribute to product pricing strategies
  • Serve as the product owner
  • Ensure a smooth transition to development
  • Work with a cross-functional team to determine the product’s business model
  • Define the marketing and PR strategies for the product
  • Remain abreast of the latest industry trends and technology
  • Meet with clients and other key stakeholders
  • Support the sales team by providing product information and demos
  • Research and suggest new product development and refinements for existing products
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Below are the qualifications expected of a product manager:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in product management or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Understanding of Lean Product Development and Agile Framework
  • Healthcare experience highly desirable
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • High level of comfort with technology and its development
  • Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills along with in-depth knowledge of product strategy
  • Experience creating detailed reports and presentations to senior executives and key stakeholders
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A track record of successfully making and keeping commitments

Geospatial data is a key ingredient to the system and Navv seeks a passionate GIS expert to move this important component of the system forward. Patients, visitors and employees will all benefit from the tools that will be provided.


  • Create the processes for integrating with a Mapping CMS
  • Develop solutions for routing indoors
  • Implement solutions for geofencing
  • Integrate with iOT and mobile devices
  • Enable the rendering of real time tracking data
  • Provide maps for buildings
  • Provide data visualizations for geospatial data
  • Write specifications for solutions to be outsourced
  • Ability to understand, recommend and build a GIS Architecture
  • Cooperate and coordinate development with external Development Team
  • Business requirement gathering and translation
  • Drive business objectives in Development Team
Required Skills:

  • Experience in working with shared mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Fullstack development experience on both HTML and Server Side processing
  • Experience with Restful APIs
  • Experience with data streams
GIS Skills:

  • Experience with QGIS
  • Experience with ArcGIS
  • Experience with FME (Safe software)
  • Familiarity with CAD
