ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Navv Systems, a care traffic control platform for health systems and  hospitals, announced today that Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC) in Burlington, Massachusetts, will deploy NavvTrack® Asset Tracking & Management to identify and track 800 IV pumps located at the hospital’s Burlington and Peabody facilities, and builds upon an existing product launch.

The NavvTrack Asset Tracking & Management module helps track equipment and increase efficiency using real-time location awareness to identify make, model, serial number, and control numbers on IV pumps. The tracking of IV pumps helps to locate and ensure equipment stays on hospital premises and allows for regular maintenance of equipment. The initial goal is to achieve a high rate of asset tagging while integrating the NavvTrack system into existing processes.

The NavvTrack Platform combines a GPS-grade digital twin of the hospital’s physical footprint,  Apple’s Indoor Positioning (IPS), and the existing WiFi network to allow dispatchers to communicate with escort services within the facility to help optimize patient transports. The  platform generates awareness of team members’ locations, thus creating a safer and more  efficient work environment.

“We’re excited to build upon our existing relationship with Lahey Hospital & Medical Center to  help staff easily locate pumps for recall and rapid turnover, while understanding and addressing  their data needs,” said Daniel Siegel, MD, CEO of Navv Systems, Inc.
